International Society for Sustainable Research & Innovation (ISSRI)

About ISSRI Membership

The ISSRI is an open platform for academicians, activists, executive members, office bearers, scientists, advisors, volunteers, and sympathizers who are interested in sustainable research and innovation. Anyone can become a member of the Society (ISSRI) no matter where they live in the world. There is no discrimination against anyone based on their religion, caste, area of residence, sex, language, or color. An individual who has reached the age of 18 years and has unwavering faith in the society's goals and objectives may become a Life/Associate Life/Student/Honorary Member.

Types of Membership

Following are the classes of membership that shall be available to the Society:

(1) Student Member, (2) Associate Life Member, (3) Life Member (4) Honorary Member

Student Membership

Eligibility: Pursuing a UG/PG degree in any discipline from a recognized Institute/University.

Note:

  • In the event of a dispute regarding a member's qualification, the decision of the EC of the Society shall be final.

  • An individual who is eligible to become a student member may apply by submitting the duly filled out Membership Form and the applicable membership fee. The Secretary General of ISSRI or a designated office bearer of ISSRI will confirm the enrolment as soon as possible. The membership will be limited for a period of three years.

Fee Details (Only valid for the first 100 members):

  • Applicant from India - 250 INR

  • Applicant from High income countries - 10 USD

  • Applicant from Upper Middle income countries - 8 USD

  • Applicant from Lower Middle income countries - 6 USD

  • Applicant from Low income countries  - 4 USD

Student membership benefits:

  • During the period of their membership, student members are entitled to participate in Annual General Body Meetings and Special General Body Meetings but are not entitled to vote for elections to the Society.

  • In addition, he/she shall be entitled to any privileges defined by the General Body from time to time.

  • A member is entitled to a 50% discount on the conference fee organized by the society.

  • Members are entitled to a 50% discount on the manuscript publication fee for the Society's journals.

Associate Life Membership

Eligibility:

  • PG degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of five years' experience in relevant fields.

                                                                                                    OR

  • Research Scholars pursuing their PhD at a recognized university are eligible for membership as Associate Life Members.

After completing a PhD or meeting the eligibility criteria for Life membership, Associate Life Members will be converted into Life Members. Associate members are required to submit their PhD provisional or degree to the Secretary of ISSRI in order to claim the Life Member position.

Note:

  • In order to become an Associate Life Member, an individual must submit the duly filled Membership Form along with the prescribed membership fee.

  • The Secretary General of ISSRI or a designated office bearer of ISSRI will confirm the enrolment as soon as possible

  • Applicant from India - 500 INR

  • Applicant from High income countries - 20 USD

  • Applicant from Upper Middle income countries - 15 USD

  • Applicant from Lower Middle income countries - 10 USD

  • Applicant from Low income countries - 8 USD

Benefits of Associate Life Member:

  • During the period of their membership, Associate Life Members are entitled to participate in Annual General Body Meetings and Special General Body Meetings but are not entitled to vote for elections to the Society.

  • In addition, he/she shall be entitled to any privileges defined by the General Body from time to time.

  • A member is entitled to a 50% discount on the conference fee organized by the society.

  • Members are entitled to a 50% discount on the manuscript publication fee for the Society's journals.

Life Membership

Eligibility:

  • A PhD degree holder in any discipline from recognized university.

    OR

  • Medical Professional (with valid NMC registration number), Industry Professional (with minimum 5 years of experience), Allied Health Sciences Professional (with minimum 5 years of experience) are also eligible for Life Membership

Note:

  • In the event of a dispute regarding a member's qualification, the decision of the EC of the Society shall be final.

  • In order to become an Life Member, an individual must submit the duly filled Membership Form along with the prescribed membership fee.

  • The Secretary General of ISSRI or a designated office bearer of ISSRI will confirm the enrolment as soon as possible

Fee Details (Only valid for the first 100 members):

  • Applicant from India - 1000 INR

  • Applicant from High income countries - 40 USD

  • Applicant from Upper Middle income countries - 30 USD

  • Applicant from Lower Middle income countries - 20 USD

  • Applicant from Low income countries - 15 USD

Benefits of Life Member:

  • A Life Member shall be entitled to participate in the Annual General Body Meetings and Special General Body Meetings and shall have the right to vote for elections of the Society. He/She shall be entitled to such privileges defined by the General Body from time to time.

  • In addition, he/she shall be entitled to any privileges defined by the General Body from time to time.

  • A member is entitled to a 50% discount on the conference fee organized by the society.

  • Members are entitled to a 50% discount on the manuscript publication fee for the Society's journals.

Important Note:

  • The Executive Committee shall reserves the right to update fees after this initial phase.

  • The Executive Committee shall have the power to refuse a membership to any individual without assigning any reasons thereof.

  • The Executive Committee has the right to revoke the membership of any member. This has to be considered if a member has violated the rules and regulations of the Society causing serious disgrace or lowering of the prestige of the Society or has intentionally made the Society to suffer a major setback of jeopardizing the objectives. For suspension / removal / impeachment of a member / an office bearer, if required, EC may appoint / form a committee. The recommendations of the committee shall be reviewed by the EC. A revocation shall be subject to an endorsement by the EC.
